Not to sound Rude PWizard but is it really worth it having a Paywall for trainers for a 12 Year old Game with a rather Niche Community? just asking out of curiosity.
Why should we put these things out for free, when our competitors don't have anything for it. And only keep trainers behind a paywall, where our competitors have trainers for.
Maintaining old trainers are only doable because we're having members who subscribed to our service. Otherwise, it wouldn't be worth the effort. Because like you said: niche community. There are ridiculous games patched over 150 times and we made over 150 trainer updates for a SINGLE game.
I think people are often misunderstanding our work and what our membership actually stands for. You don't buy single trainers and you are not buying new trainers for new games. You are purchasing a service which means everything, including producing and maintaining trainers. This can be new trainer for AAA titles, a 15 years old title which gets updated out of nowhere for some free ingame cosmetics, or even for games you aren't interested in. In return you may get a trainer for your game that only 2 other people are interested in. If we would sell this trainer for itself, we wouldn't earn anything from it. This is a business with fulltime employees. We have to earn money and we have to provide something to people asking themselves why the should subscribe to our service. So a paywall is also a protection for our paying members. They get exclusive content, also for niche games, for their money. And I believe its just fair.

Now Now no need to tear verbally into me with such passion.
