I've been having the trouble lately that all trainers for Halo say it cannot find the game. Obviously, I launch the trainer first, then the game. This happened to me with the season 6 update.
Also, I never changed drives (standard install to C drive), so I'm wondering why it doesn't pair up anymore and others here have no trouble at all.
This is for the game pass version by the way.
Thanks in advance.

Are you using the correct trainer for the game you try to play?
Also, might wanna read the post here Link

Doesn't matter what game I play. It happens with the achievement enabler as well, and the game is still in the main menu, so there is something terribly wrong on my end why the path to the file has changed location without my knowledge.
New enabler posted in the #1 slot, try that.

I already have the latest version. Turns out the trainers lost their directory path to the shell:apps folder that's supposed to be in the trainer settings. I compared with other trainers from different games, and they show a directory to where they attach it to, but not for any of the Halo.
Try changing the location of the EXE file in the trainer itself. Link
Sadly, I don't know the path to it. Or is there a way to delete the complete trainer settings and get it reverted to default somehow?
