I just bought this game and used the Cosmos to change the amount of essence and it took it but once you leave the upgrade page, the points didn't stick. I've tried several times and 3 times it crashed the game to desktop. It's hard to cheat with this game, don't know why but it is. I'll keep trying off and on. You'll have a great day. OH also the speed hack works well. Just can't make anything else stick.

The Game runs on half client and half server like model. Alot of the things that are retained are stored by the "Server".

Even when fully offline it emulates a server for you to connect to
