Just starting the game for the first time on the new trainer (thanks CH team)

I am playing in offline mode (as i'm sure alot of you guys are)

any tips on which stuff to turn on if i want a game that still has the mechanics but isn't too hard?

i'm thinking turn off the whole fall thing and making sure structures i place are there forever as a way that i'm still travelling but it get's easier (faster) each trip without stuff going away

I get a weird constant noise with this trainer. Almost like the building noise of 3d printed items in the world. It never stops, any ideas?

Thanks, I figured it out myself (it WAS the footwear) and I didn't spot the search bar , my bad

Although I'm coming back with another issue. I get black screen when Sam 'dies'. I can press pause and see that i'm on the map/reload game, but I guess I do not get to go to the swimming mini-game to respawn. It's not a hard freeze, just black screen.

Much like the sound glitch, any idea as to what cheat might be hampering with this?

My guess would be any option on that keeps you alive at all times or a stealth/ghost related option preventing a game scripted death.

In my experience, the "no fall while running" option causes this.

You have to anticipate it and turn it off before this happens. Otherwise, you'll have to load the last save.

I'm curious, is the timer reset option working for everyone? It never seems to reset my mission timer during a mission, though fortunately I am yet to run out of time. Having never used this option before, is it intended to work right away, or perhaps only when the initial timer expires?

Sooooo, the timer reset kinda works like this: before you actually complete the mission, launch your cufflinks browser, then goto orders. With the timer reset enabled, going scrolling over the orders the registered time in the "orders" will actually reset. The timer (in game) will continue to run & eventually go red (obviously). But, the "cheat" actually does work. The game timer runs...but you can actually reset what registers when you complete the mission like I described. Hope this helps.
