If i would like an update to the Windows Store Version of the Game, is that possible through the "File Update Request" system?
Or won't that happen, even if i put in the Funds?
You can use the update request yes. if it needs to be updated.
Since the latest update to Doom Eternal (Ancient Gods Part 2) I have been experiencing pauses and stutters.
I am experiencing this on several different computers with different hardware configurations. All computers meet the minimum hardware specifications and have the latest WHQL drivers .
The pauses and stutters do not happen if I don't use the trainer ,they are only present when the trainer is running.
This was not happening before the latest Doom Eternal update and the latest trainer update.
Oddly noticing the same,
Ultra Violence settings on my RTX3080 with a 10th gen i9 so hardware isnt an issue
Also before it gets copy pasted at me as per the usual "support" response i have NO anti-vrius/malware/firewall software on my machine at all (i have no use of it) and all the built in windows crap (defender, security suite, windows firewall etc) are disabled via external tools with each major platform update so nothing is eating at resources in the background
Gonna do some testing and try to log system resource usage in situations where the current trainer is used and without and come back to here
As a note on previous trainer versions and i must stress PRIOR to the second DLC release there were no performance issues and back then my pc was even weaker on a 980ti and an old i7 7700k LOL

toggle off ALL options, restart mission, then toggle them on one at a time to see if you can see the culprit, if there even is one.
best,
Cal
The performance issues have been noted on the Steam forums for Doom Eternal as well with the new expansion pack. I don't think it's tied to the trainer; I had only minor hitches early on, and it was gone.
I dont own the game on steam as i bought a physical collector's edition at launch so its the bethesda launcher for me which as we all know is absolute pants so i cant speak for forum posts about performance but i shall take your word for it
Looking at the xml files i generated too after testing it does seem to be title related from the second DLC's integration so will have to wait on ID to patch it up as per usual
