So far most of the issues I have heard are from people who have the game NOT being installed on the main/same drive as Gamepass or using another app to get it to install to another drive. They have all been different from troubleshooting. Try it on your main drive maybe.

That could be it, that's the last thing to try.
The Master Chief series is not installed on my C drive as it's like 200GB for the whole package lol so installed it on another drive. Xbox Gamepass is on my C drive but that hasn't affected other Gamepass games I use trainers for that are installed on a different drive.
I'll try to Re-install just Halo CE on C drive and give that a go.

Hello! I just wanted to confirm that I too have the EXACT same problem as LBiltekin. Just to confirm we are talking about the GamePass version. All of my trainers cannot find any of the games. I even took steps and reformatted my entire hard drive. Right now I have my OS and games installed on the same drive and volume. You guys at CH are the best and I'm sure you all can figure out what's going on. Caliber I hope you are enjoying your vacation and Cypher I hope you have a great vacay as soon as you get the chance. Hope you have a great flight out to Barbados, Jamaica, or wherever you plan to kick it! 🙂

Just curious if the exe is still called MCC-Win64-Shipping,exe in the drive:\Halo The Master Chief Collection\MCC\Binaries\Win64 or what ever the GP directory is?

And reminder to NOT activate the trainer at the main menu, wait until you pick the game and load into it start you mission, pause the game then activate the trainer.

Collected info from all I can, are there any debug logs you guys can post? Also, could anyone verify that the games EXE has always been MCCWinStore-Win64-Shipping.exe or was it different before the patch with the Custom Game Browser addition?

Yes that is the exe and if memory serves me it has always been.
Defo waiting until I pick the game and load into it then pauses before trying to activate trainer. Just get the trainer cannot find game.

The only debug note is 21:26:14: HALO CE Anniversary, 04-22-2021 (STEAM/WINDOWSSTORE/XBOXGAMEPASS)

Halo CE ANNIVERSARY 10.03.2020 trainer was the last one that worked, even when you launched it through gamepass with anti cheat disabled and mods enabled.
So MS must have done something in the patch after to affect this now.
For example Gears of Wars Tactics on Gamepass still works with trainers so very specific issue for the Master Chief Collection on gamepass unfortunately.

All the Halo trainers for Gamepass/Win Store including the Achiv Enabler should be OK now. Be sure to thank Caliber for his amazing work.
