I requested an update as well. On the Steam version the armor no longer regenerates either, everything else seems to be working fine though, at least from what I've tested.
yeah so every mission I've tried, nothing can destroy my mechs.
I have no idea what people are having issues with, but the armor shows colors in the display when hit, but never is destroyed

While running unlimited armor, my NPC pilots are receiving lengthy injuries (50 - 70+). I recall this being an issue in the early days of the trainer; if this is a insurmountable side effect, is there any way to add an invincible pilots option?
Sadly not, the early level tutorials explain how pilots work, quote from the questionmark in the top-left corner, barracks pilot health, injury "The following situations can lead to the pilot being injured: a hit to a 'Mech's head, the destruction of any torso locations on a 'Mech, the destruction of both a 'Mech's legs or an ammo explosion in a 'Mech"
personally, my issue is with how little damage is needed to cripple a pilot, a good shot landing on your AI-pilots can incapacitate them for up to 80+ days, but THERE IS GOOD NEWS, there's a mod that reduces pilots healing time, sadly, its not steam compatible yet, so I just have 10 or so pilots on standby to switch em out when they get injured, its only an extra 100k in C-bills every 3 months or so, so I'm fine with that, considering I only keep 4 mechs out of Cold-storage, usually you'd have 2-3 spare mechs for when you take serious damage during a mission.
The colour on the display changes, but a quick check on the trainer's editor page shows the armour still at full.
A quick check after combat and you have returned to your dropship shows damage to the mech that does have to be repaired.
