Halo: The Master Chief Collection Message Board  

I am having a problem getting Infinite Sabre Hull and Shields to work properly on the level Long Night of Solace. Infinite Sabre Thruster works as expected, but when enabling the hull and shield options, I am still able to receive damage from Banshees and Seraphs. I am playing on Legendary. I have restarted the mission from the main menu, as well as restarting the entire game. Is anyone else having this problem?

EDIT: Nevermind, I just figured it out. You can only enable one of the options. So I can either enable hull or shield and they will work individually, but if I enable both options they cancel each other out until I restart the game..

This seems to be the hardest trainer I've tried to get it working. I bought this through the Windows Store (darn).

The executable folder is C:\Program Files\ModifiableWindowsApps\HaloMCC

In the archive I see the trainer, and the launcher_bundle. It appears that mcclauncher.rar should be renamed mcclauncher.exe and rename old one to mcclauncher.old however this is for steam only?

However what does the 'Launch Xbox Pass Halo Reach CH.rar 'need to be renamed? I tried .exe, .lnk, bat, etc. It's only 1KB so I expected a lnk or batch file. Regardless in settings, I set the path to 'C:\Program Files\ModifiableWindowsApps\HaloMCC\mcclauncher.exe' . I also tried replacing the mcclauncher.exe with the one from the archive, but when clicking on the Launch Game button I just get an error, "Access is Denied". So lost...

I must be an idiot because I only see the one trainer in there "Halo Master Chief Collection"

if you look at the trainer page, behind #1 it clearly says CE
and behind trainer #2 it cleary says Halo Reach.

I wanted to know if when you die from an explosion, sword strike or the rest that kills you fast, it is because of the damage you activate the coach and how can that be solved?

So just trying to understand here. i loaded up the Reach Trainer. ran through the whole game. runs great! however.... it says i should be able to earn the achievements. this did not happen either in the game or on steam. any thoughts to what happened there?

Trainer up to date and working as corrected. There are files included with the game to launch the game so the trainer will work.

look for:

Gamepass and Windows Store users READ ME FIRST!

or:

STEAM users READ ME FIRST!


Also, make sure you have the correct trainer. There is separate trainers for each episode. ALSO make sure your episode is installed into the base program.

The custom mcclauncher no longer works. Whenever you launch The Master Chief Collection with the custom mcclauncher.exe Steam gives the following error:

Failed to start process for Halo: The Master Chief Collection :
"Operation did not complete successfully because the file contains a virus or potentially unwanted software." (0xE1)

I have re-downloaded the latest trainers (released on March 04th, 2020) for both Halo: Reach and Halo: Combat Evolved. The same error occurs with each custom launcher.
