Monster Hunter World Message Board  

I want to know how to use the wipe function
among the monster hunter editor functions.
I did as described, but it did not apply.

1.Play the game
2. Press F1 after running editor
3. Hover the mouse over the desired slot.
4. alt + tab-> wipe slot tab-> press button the wipe slot / ammo / blah / blah
5. Return to the game.
6. Hover the mouse over the desired slot again.
7. 4. Repeat the method.
8. Return to the game.
9. Not applicable.

Is my way wrong?

I'm trying to change the gender of my character. What are the values for Male and Female? It's just showing 0 when the editor is activated. Thanks.

I found a way for me to get Jewels(decorations) to go into the right slot WITHOUT going to expedition or mission.
Note: This worked for me multiple times and could be replicated with 100% success safely without crashing my save, but please do not hold me responsible if you do not backup your save file before this.

Steps:
1. Use editor to add the Jewels(decorations) of your choice into the Item Box (the place where you store potions).
2. Transfer the added Jewels into Item Pouch (clear space for the Jewels if it is full)

Here's the different part:
Assuming you have a current loadout stored in the in-game Loadout manager ( "X" for PC players)

3. With the jewel/s still in your item pouch, go to the loadout manager (press "X" and load 1 of your saved loadouts.

You'll notice the Jewels will no longer be in your Item pouch nor will it be in your Item Box.

It should be safely sitting in your Jewel tabs now.

How do you use the editor to add mantles? whats their base id and what slot do you add them into i managed to add them as a material but it disappears when you complete a quest instead of being added as a reward. I also tried adding it to the item box but that doesn't do anything either.

Mantles are equipment not a material or otherwise, will also bug if you add it then get it from the intended quest later.

Hello there.
Just wanted to know if what I'm trying to do is possible.
The editor doesn't seem to work as intended or I'm doing something wrong. Probably the later.

I'm running mhw in offline. Running the editor and activating it.

I want to change materials in my item box. Like monster materials and stuff.

The only way I know to see these items is to go to the sell tab

When I'm hovering over a material nothing changes in the editor.

I can change money or points without any problem though.
Would really love some insight.

Are you pressing the TAB key after changing the value in the box?
