I seem to have the same issue as h2h81:
I run the game as admin, I run Aurora as admin
I get on the main menu and press F1 to activate the trainer (which works)
I choose a campaign mission, press * for invincibility, pause the game, press 9 to activate the cheat and the game crashes.
I haven't tried other cheats so I can't say if this is only an issue with the invincibility or with other cheats as well

This sounds like what I am doing, except for F1 at the main menu because last night I couldn't get F1 to work at the main menu. Today I can get it to work at the main menu although it can take a number of tries. Game devs have gone crazy.

So I do F1 at the main menu -- and I have tried both the "vanilla" main menu and the expansion's main menu. I go in game, either starting a new campaign mission or loading a saved campaign mission. (I have not tried a skirmish yet.) I have tried both the vanilla campaigns and the expansion campaign. I enable a cheat or two -- and sometimes I don't enable any cheats -- then I pause (either with the pause key or hitting escape, to see if either has better luck). Sometimes I enable cheats while paused. Last I hit "enable cheat system." Oh, and AV is off. (G Data.)

No matter what I try, but always sticking to the above (except last night I was hitting F1 in game), I get a crash. I will try on a different PC later today to see if anything changes. I'm curious to know why it works for some and not others.

Updated the trainer instruction.
The trainer does works as intended yet might not be perfect but that's the best at moment we could offer desptie the brutal anti cheat system and applied a tiny hot fix aiming making it more functional and at this stage if it's still doesn't works for you then you're one of the unlucky ones and I cannot help you,sorry.

Unfortunately it still doesn't work.
Goddamn Microsoft, why can't you let people use cheats in single player, you ****s...

Did you read the new instructions?
Try ‘Activate Cheat System’ at main menu then load the game and enable your desired options see how that works.

Yes, I did, but it still doesn't work for me.
It just crashes when it's loading a map.

Run as admin didn’t help?
Do you have anti virus?
If these doesn’t works then I’m sorry I cannot help you, all of the trainers out there for this game is suffering from the same exact issue due to brutal anti cheat measures taken by the developers of the game though something might still be interfering on your side can’t pin what exactly.
