This is just messed up. It ran flawlessly on release day and the patch or the driver update f*ed it up completely for me. Everythis is up to date and my system is pretty decent (Ryzen 7 1800x, 2080ti and 32gb of RAM). I even disabled security as recommended but the rockstar launcer crashes immediately or hands out the bs error.

I'm going to kick everything off my system, clean the registry and re-install everything again.

My only issue with the game is the performance, it runs well enough on Ultra everything at 1080p with MSAA and MSAA reflection off.

My problem is the hitching in the game, my game will literally free up for 1-5 seconds randomly. Seems to happen in the first 1 hour of playing and will happen 2-3 times.

Other than that, I've had to issues.

Make sure you have the latest drivers, and you are launching the game AND the launcher as admin. Seems to help.

    Intel i5 8600k OC 4.5 GhZ
Nvidia GTX 1080 FTW 8gb VRAM

I' running: Windows 10 (fully up to date)
    Intel i7 7700k @ 4.2 GHz Liquid Cooled
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Liquid Cooled (Latest Drivers)
    16 GB DDR4 @2400MHz
Kaspersky Antivirus (Problems persist even if disabled)
Game purchased through Epic (Maybe that's my problem?)

Additionally the game runs like greased lightening when its not crashing (various input and UI anomalies aside) so I can't imagine my specs are too under-powered.

Got it through Rockstar launcher. Zero issues of any kind even after having the game running for 20+ hours at a time. Great FPS. No launcher issues of any kind.

The trainer has crashed the game a couple times, but not with the latest updates.

    Win 10 Pro (latest updates)
    12gb Titan GPU
    24gb DDR4 RAM
    4ghz i7 CPU
    Bit defender A/V

So far only had one bug ...fell through the floor in a train while on one of those white dot missions (some guys robbing a train) and after I kept falling a few seconds I re-appeared about halfway the other side of the map back on my feet.

Other then that no issues whatsoever.

It's a shame that game devs are still "allowed" to release buggy games with the idea that they will just patch them post launch.

This game seems to be all over the place regarding reliability.

I haven't had any issues other than an infinite loading screen once. And that was fixed by deleting the settings folder in the RDR2 Documents folder.

This game is actually running better for me than the new COD: MW

    i7-7700K
    64GB RAM
    EVGA 2080TI FTW3
Windows 10 LTSC 2019 (Windows Store Enabled)
