Hello there. I'm just wondering. Is anyone else struggling to keep Arthur's weight while using cheats? I ate 4 large meals and still the weight went down

I had this problem myself too without using the trainer. I had to switch from Vulcan to DX12 in graphic settings and then I was able to successful loading a savegame. I guess the Vulcan implementation, which is on by default, is not perfectly stable.

That's weird because Vulkan works much better for me than DX12 does. I don't know if it matters that I'm running an Nvidia card.

That has nothing to do with the trainer. There is a valid reason as to why Arthur's weight keeps going down no matter how much you eat. The reason will be revealed to you in due course as you go further along the story, chapter 6 I believe.

If you really want to know the reason now, look at the spoilers below

Spoiler:

Arthur has tuberculosis. There is no in game cure for it

It is still possible to increase his weight further, even to the point of being overweight. However, it will take a lot of continuous eating and sleeping to reach that point. Even then, you will still continue to lose a lot of weight if you don't keep that process up. You will end up just spending most of your time in the game doing that rather than actually playing. As such, I would not recommend being too bothered by it.

@Taakebanke - it was the same on the Xbox one, it took like 50 meals to keep the guy from turning into a twig. So game wise, it's normal. It's nothing to do with the trainer.

On ps4 I kept Arthur's weight almost perfect the whole time. And since I'm just in chapter 2 yet it shouldn't be that hard. That's why I find it weird that I'm struggling now. But I'll see what I can do to work around it, and test some more
