Need for Speed Heat Message Board  

So I preordered this game just after it became available on Origin. When news of preloading hit my PC, I wanted to get that in to play as soon as release came. So I clicked preload, and a little message flashed in front of my eyes... Windows 10 only. I use Windows 7 on my desktop. I have to upgrade my PC in order to fricking download! Now, I was going to buy a bunch of HOT new parts and upgrade to Win10-x64 when Win7 went out of print. Wasn't exactly sure when THAT was going to happen, so I sat on it. Man... that little thing I'm sitting on started burning a hole in my bum, so I'm going to have to actually set a date for the upgrade before I fall into my seat. Too bad NFS Heat comes out sooner than Win7 goes out of print.

Given your OS is not only outdated but has been dropped from official support, it would be the safe thing to upgrade.

Yeah! But it's not officially deprecated at the moment. I was holding it off for as long as possible because Win7 gives me nostalgia from WinXP; Win7 is WinXP but a straight upgrade! I'm gonna miss it.

You must have done something wrong. I did it without hassle but I went offline first.

Windows 10 is still a free upgrade from vista- win 8
