For some reason my games resolution was 4k even though I'm using a 1080p screen, it took a little effort to find the display menu, but resolved the issue on my owm.. The text at the bottom of the screen was helpful. as for the game it is a little touchy w/ the xb one controller, it auto sprints all the time w/o me wanting it to. Can't wait for a trainer so I can at least not worry about draining stamina,etc.,

You'd think R* could just port the control scheme they had on the consoles.. LOL

This is a game where both G-Sync and High Refresh Rate panels pay off in spades. Starting 47-58 fps is where gsync shines to keep that 60 fps look and feel, then off to the races when the game gets into areas where you can hith 70-90+.

I had to logout and login to get the game to work as I had the failed activation issue.

Stutters lasting a few seconds for me at times

Haven't bought the game yet because I am waiting for trainer confirmation. Does anyone know which version, Epic or Rockstar, the CH crew is working on?

We are working on the EPIC version first but it still goes through the Rockstar Launcher so it's very possible one will work for all distributions. If not, then we will go back and add additional distributions when we are finished. First trainer should be ready within the next few hours. Sit tight, folks.

I must say, when I played on PS4 PRO I was blown away with the visuals, must DANG on PC it's really making my jaw drop. Custom details, texture itself is ultra most other things are high, maybe a few others ultra - on a I7 8700K@stock ASUS 2070 SUPER also on stock. not getting below 60 FPS. And I agree about the G-Sync, I love my monitor. And I love RDR 2. So pleasing to run it with mouse and Keyboard, but mainly at a smoother framerate and maybe better visuals. :P Should the game have RTX implemented ? Maybe, but we might see a patch that adds it in the future. BTW I am running the game in Vulcan API.
