Nope, just stay solo when using the trainer and reboot PC first and relaunch game normally to join raids or do multi-player stuff.

about these concerns
1. what if i cheat all skill points? will the game detect me later in normal game with battle eye?
2. can't i go raid on my own?(solo with trainer)

There are more skill points available in the game than are needed, so most likely no. Raids, you need 4 people to enter as you each need to active nodes to open doors to do raid progression. You can visit the Island solo though, just can't do raid bosses.

@cypher369 or anyone else that might be able to help me understand. I guess i am a little dense since the skill points dont quite work the same as in other games with skill points. Normally I go into the ditor portion of the trainer and add the amount of points i want to increase and hit enter and return to the main screen of the trainer then look at my skill points in the game and they are increased that amount. I see the note in the skills points under progression and so i clicked on the drop down and added some points there and pressed f11 and still no points added. I am sure i am just doing somethign wrong or was this removed?

Don't use the editor for skill points, use the trainer portion F11 under progression, be sure to go into the skill screen before adding then press it, leave and go back they should be there. May take a try or two.

I cant get it to add skill points by using the F11 in the trainer. The only way i can get it to add skill points is by going into the editor and adding XP points and leveling the character up.

Which i was NOT able to replicate after that first time i added xp in the editor now it only shows question marks in the xp field

Started brand new game, went into skill screen AFTER making level 2 (won't be there otherwise) in tutorial mission, Skill point showed 1, pressed F11 using default trainer value of 25, and it immediately changed for me, now have 25 skill points at level 2. Works fine for me.
