I think the experimental thing is dumb and weird as well, and if a huge update is still buggy they should push it back, but here it is, and here we are. I was just really hoping for the trainer to be updated so i could explore and fill in the map using infinite jetpack fuel and infinite health.
So what is early access for then?

Cal
Like you said, throwing ideas at the wall and seeing what sticks. Early Access is now paid beta, and the experimental thing, I assume, is them sticking to their timetable but making sure they don't accidentally destroy everybody's save files with it.
This game may be completely retired until it's out of early access and fully released.
There will be no trainers for alternate, beta, or expermental, or experimentation versions of a game that isn't even completed on it's early access trek.
I am not sure if this is being more grammatically or punctual or clear, but this is my decision.
This game is not the only game in existence, and certainly not the only game we are supporting on this site. It's not 'Satisfactory Happens' website.
The developers are clearly not sure what it is they even want this game to do. It's in development, and they are throwing things at the wall to try and see what sticks. We don't have time for that sort of thing. That's what INTERNAL TESTING and QUALITY CONTROL are for in development of software. Unfortunately, there are consumers all too willing to be guinea pigs or to PAY to be the quality control or feature testers for games. Fine, if you have time for that sort of thing, and the money to pay to be someone's lackey for 12 months while they charge you for it, then so be it. We do not.
Personally, I think this is a disgusting trend, and has created both games and software that are released in junk fashion and people are ok with it. 'We will just fix the bugs later, when people all report them' becomes the norm. Folks who pay for this are encouraging it. We don't plan to encourage it.
Our trainer works for the legitimate early access version of the game, not any modded, experimental, or any other version of the game. If this triggers you, then you might reconsider that this is an UNFINISHED VIDEO GAME, and one of thousands we are responsible for here, not your healthcare insurance.
If this subject becomes too much of an argument, the trainer will simply be retired and then we will decide if we want to unretire it when the full game comes out.
Hey, look at that beautiful sunshine outside. Going to be a glorious day on planet earth, whether the experimental branch of Satisfactory has a trainer or not.

Cal
You've clearly misunderstood me.
If you re-read my post, you'll likely notice I wasn't attacking your decision to not support experimental version of the game. The issue I had was with your desire to sound borderline malicious towards another games developer simply because of how they choose to release games. A methodology in which has the community tick of approval - even if it doesn't have yours.
I agree if anything with your decision to not support the experimental branch of the game, I just find it 'cringey' to watch the great caliber himself have such strong opinion towards something that he needn't not.
As I said in my first post, just say it's against cheat happens policy and call it at that. There's no one asking for special cases here, there's no one being triggered by the lack of a cheat release for experimental, there's just you throwing weighted opinions around, and the needless opinions themselves being what trigger me.
Let it be known I appreciate your position in this community both as a dev and a mod gets frustrating. But you're running a consumer based business nevertheless.
P.S. The punctuation filter I was referring to was the one built into the site. I can't remember how many times I had to go and remove quotation marks and hyphens etc. as a result. I wasn't referring to your own punctuation.
Shall we let bygones be bygones?
All working fine except for the inventory item editor.
Tried removing space elevator and then started seeing inventory count changing dynamically in the trainer.
Watched the video to check I was following the right procedure.
Satisfactory ver is early access 97236
This has been brought up before.
Since the game doesn't allow me to share saves, and I have no intention of playing it for 45 hours to mess around with space elevator and whatnot, likely there will be no other work around.
Another idea is to have a second save EARLY in the game. Load it first, click on inventory item, then LOAD the later game with the elevator and see if the code created from the first LOAD sticks and works for elevator.
I have no other suggestions.

Cal
