The trainer crashes my game after about 20 seocnds of play time no matter if i activate anything or not. I am currently using the most up to date trainer and my win 10 is up to date along with my video drivers. not sure if any of that might affect it. I do have the .net v3.1 or soemthing like that both the x86 and x64 versions.

i have same thing happen played game for 30 mins then i tryed trainer and 10 mins crashed did so i'll check back later
When using the trainer, make sure you turn things like unlimited oxygen etc off when not in the water. Start using the trainer only after the initial storm, once you have dropped in the water. Be careful with one hit kills, it causes instability when scanning. The fast scanning option also causes some instability and have crashed the game a few times.
Overall I just play it with unlimited battery, oxygen and health and I have no issues whatsoever.
I'm having a similar issue with the fast build option, and fast scan.
When switched on, there is no audible notification that they are activated, and then, when accessing the in-game PDA, or trying to save the game, they cause the game to either lock up, or CTD.
Without either of these options turned on, I have no issues at all running the game. I use health, oxygen, food, water, battery, and craft with no issues (trainer is run in admin mode).

Well it is an early access title that will continue to get updates till full release so the trainer functions will be constantly broken by the game devs.
Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

Forgot to mention that I have only just bought the game, after the most recent update, and after the most recent trainer was posted - game purchased 27th Feb 2020.
