Used inf. ammo several times and it has always ran fine for me, maybe you hit ZOMBIES DON'T ATTACK by accident and didn't realize it. Trainer worked great on my game (used all of the options at some point or another). Map glitch could be outdated video drivers or another program in the background interfering with it.

I always update both Windows and GPU drivers, restarting the game fixes areas glitching out but still try to use Trainer causes enemy script issues.

I turned off every background apps like you said then tried turn on/off Zombies don't attack option and that did not fix the issue though, same result with run as admin option for trainer app. Even while running the game without the trainer, zombies are just ignoring me. My guess is whole save file's scripts are messed up somehow. Deleting XML file didn't help either.

I guess I have to restart from the very start though.

Using the trainer on a modded game can cause issues, are there any installed? I would also verify the integrity of the games file using the tool of what ever platform you got the game on.

Not modded, I bought and playing on Steam.
Maybe the game directory is on HDD drive while trainer is on my documents which different directory causes some weird things? I don't know I am not an expert on this lol.

Oh, verify the game files didn't do much, it only does some buggy thing when trying to activate the trainer at the main menu but goes back to the weird state when using trainer options.

you could try this, but a new game may be needed.

Delete trainer and all files in

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
C:\ProgramData\CheatHappens

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and extract it. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again. May also need to run the game without the trainer first and play a bit so the save file gets updated to use possible new values.

Also turn off cloud saves, if that one is corrupt in anyway Steam will just keep downloading and use it

I will try this when I have a chance, normally trainers provided on this website doesn't give me trouble much as this, been using for years never had any troubles.
