These two options do not work for me😥
Did you get a couple of points and spend at least 1, same for gold, or just try them right away on a new character?
Hi, a few of the trainer options are not working. I am unable to add XP or ability points. All of the other options seem to work fine. I am on the latest patch that is supported by the trainer.
I am playing with a character that I've had for a while and I am earning XP but the trainer will not add any.

Delete trainer and all files in
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
C:\ProgramData\CheatHappens

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer, run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again.

i removed all files as you mentioned and tried even a new game.
The Trainer Options for gold, ability points, easy crafting and so on are still not working for me.
Trainer was given administration rights, Antivirus was deactivated, lifescan was deactivated. Computer was restarted.
Installing to check, will be a while for 100 gig game...
While that is going, exactly what trainer are you using? #1 for Uplay Plus or #2 for Steam and regular Uplay? They are different.
Using trainer #2 for Steam/Normal Uplay ,
XP adds fine for me, added 200 default amt.
add gold working for me, changed and added 1000
ability points works fine gave 25 default amt.
All crafting working (need proper amount of materials first)

i am using the UPlay Plus Trainer. I could try using the normal one, i did not do that yet.
Even with using Uplay Plus. Maybe there is an error in the uplay client and it does not detect the Plus version.

Edit:
The normal Trainer did work. It seems, that the uplay plus trainer did not detect my Plus account or i have an issue within the uplay client. Either way, my issue is solved.
