Are you using the right trainer for your version of the game? Where did you buy the game and which trainer are you using?

Are you using the right trainer for your version of the game? Where did you buy the game and which trainer are you using?
I manage to download the correct version of the trainer. Was using the wrong trainer for a few days back.

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer, run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again.

If what Cypher posted doesn't fix it for you, you may have to restart the game and trainer and leave that option off. It can sometimes stay in memory and exiting the game and trainer then restarting may be the only way to clear it.
It can also happen in Boss fights in some games. Not always, just be aware that it can happen. If you find you can't kill a Boss, because he doesn't lose any health, it may be the trainer's health, God mode and/or Unlimited shield (if avail) keeping him alive. Sometimes you can just deactivate the option but other times it requires a restart with the option/s off.
