Is anyone else having any issues with the skill points option? I'd originally used it just fine last night when I'd first gotten the trainer, but that was before any of the characters had manually gained a level. I haven't/am not using the EXP multiplier.

However, once they had, any leftover gifted skill points they had became negative once combined with the automatically bestowed points.

I did manage to fix it, some, by using the points cheat again and it reset to 0, at least for the Hero. For two other characters who'd just leveled after him a few minutes ago were not 'fixable' that way, so I had to use the Skill Seeds, after multiplying its quantity, until they were also reset to 0.

Is this normal, or was I meant to use the gifted points within its entirety prior to leveling each time? Because I had, for one of them, accidentally given an extra set of points after pressing the button too fast - Sadly I was falling asleep at the time.

    Cheers. 💛

Dont know if you mean skillpoints get negative when you give yourself more skillpoints. If you do then you have to change the total skillpoints. Not anything else. Cause it counts how many skill points you used out of your total skillpoints.

You go into the editor and change total amount of skillpoints on a character. Never give yourself points in any other way than that.

Click on Equipment menu in game, then go the character you want to change the points.
You will see the total skill will change for each character in the trainer editor.
    It works great.

Skill points always get messed up at level up for all characters other than hero if you attempt to cheat them in any way other than skill seeds. I wrote about this shortly after the first trainer was posted. Just fix it when you want to add more skill points, the point totals will go negative next time you level up, but it doesn't negatively affect anything, so you can ignore it as you can cheat more points when you want them.

Yeah, thanks everyone for your replies. I did see your post about it after I'd made mine, and did what you suggested, thereafter.

    Thanks again, everyone! 💛

Do attributes which are changed save at all in any form or do they reset every time it levels up, requiring a "freeze" of the values? (Strength, Max Health, things like that)?

    Thanks! 🙂

    To help anyone here out

If you want to maximize all skill trees for a character: pay close attention to "Total Talent Points" and "Spent Talent Points"

The game "remembers" the older value of how many talent points you actually earned, versus what you put in. If I put 500 Total Talent Points, it will show 500 in my screen assuming you do this when you step out of Cobblestone for the first time.

The "Spent Talent Points" at that point in the game should be "0". Once you use the faked number for TTP to unlock all skills and you engage in a fight, you will notice the Talent Points go into the negative. This happens because The game resets Total Talent Points from say...500 to whatever it was like 20. It calculates the difference with Spent Talent Points and throws a value that is usually negative, unless you kept it under the value of 10 or something low for Total Talent Points

So I had 500 Talent Points, I unlocked everything. Spent talent points became something like 400. My actual Total Talent Points earned as the game remembered it was 20. So it "reset" these in the next battle from 100 remaining Total Talent Points to 23 or so.

The game did this math 23 (Total Talent Points it REMEMBERS) 400 (Spent Talent Points from the excessive 500 Value I put for Total Talent Points in the trainer! Leading to show a value of negative 377.

Easy fix: Always make sure once you unlock skills that you set Spent Talent Points to 0. This will make any gains or resets of Total Talent Points in the positive than the negative

Total Talent Points - Spent Talent Points = the actual Talent Point # you see under "Character Builder" Always remember this guys.

For my PREVIOUS example the game ended up doing 23 - 400 = -377 something. Total Talent Points. Easiest solution once you unlock skills is just to make Spent Talent Points 0.

Now if only I can figure out how to save the attributes like strength, etc .

On observation on Infinite Health / Infinite Mana:

As currently coded, the trainer is locking those values to their Base values for a given character, rather than the Total. The total (displayed in game when the trainer is inactive) is the aggregate of their Base HP / MP plus anything from their equipment, selected skills and seed usage.

It's not breaking gameplay, but I'm not far enough into the content to be able to tell whether it'll become an issue when doing harder encounters / trials / etc.
