i have a clean install of both the game and the trainer as well as all firewalls and antivirus programs disabled in both bios as well as using regedit to disable windows built in stuff..

when i click manual or f1 to enable the trainer the trainer will say please wait and then will just close and if i try and launch the trainer it tells me it cant find the AOB

First, you can't disable Defender via the registry anymore so exclusions have to be added.

I don't think the old version is available on platforms anymore.

i do not have that version i have the original one from 2018 which is this version

All you can do is try
Delete trainer and all files in

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
C:\ProgramData\CheatHappens

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and extract it. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again. May also need to run the game without the trainer first and play a bit so the save file gets updated to use possible new values.

If not file a report, not sure if that trainer can be updated anymore, 0x90 would need to see if we still have access to that version of the game to do so.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

I've marked this game as retired. It has been removed from Steam and replaced with the DEFINITIVE EDITION (which everyone who owned this game should have got for free). We have a separate and still working trainer for the definitive edition: Link
