For those of you that are having issues with the XP cheats first change "Actual XP gathered" to 999999 and then set the other XP cheat to 900000. Press the key for Actual XP gathered FIRST and then press the key for the other XP cheat and it will lock your level at 50 and won't reset it. It worked for me.
this works if you have not reset to level 1 already. If you have reset to level 1 and saved, you will have to start a new game. The reset bugs because it locks all the skills, cant make any purchases.
I don't know if the Trainer has effected my game or not but I am still mesmerize level 1. I am currently about to go see Darius to get inside. I got the letter and all that stuff. Does anyone know when I am supposed to level up next? I need to talk to that one guy about reading braile but his mesmerize level is at 3.
You get the first increase when you talk to a certain lady after Darius lets you in, And mesmerize is only used for feeding on civilians, it is not used for charm, i.e the talk options you learn through hints and cause the civilian to tell you want you want to hear.

Okay Grubs, thank you for the answer. I was not sure when I would get my first mesmerize increase. I am about to do that already.
@dust942. this is what worked for me. first set your level to 99 and lock it(locking is very important. increase your xp. dont use infinite xp options you have to manually add the xp and then the xp itself HAS to be able to decrease. then start buying skills. you will notice the power level decreases. go out of that skill and your level will pop back to 99. go into another skill, buy it, your initial level will now start to increase again, and rinse and repeat. eventually you will get lvl 50 but remember to lock level and spend xp these are important.

I seem to have an issue with the easy crafting. It sets the quantity of sodium hypochlorite and ferrous tartrate to -1, and doesn't allow you to purchase them. Crafting works fine, but if you need those items for a quest, they're not detected. Can't complete the 'missing ingredients' investigation as a result.
Anyone else seen this?
Ah, so im not the only one with this problem.
I was running around all over the place to gather the material for cure and found out the hard way that the green ingrediants are not collected/ recognized.
Reloading the game does nothing for this problem, the save is corrupted.

Have you tried using CoSMOS to change the values to something other than a negative number?
