It sounds like old data is being left in one of these folders
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
so they either need to be cleaned out or the system rebooted or both before using the trainer again, whether it the trainer, the game or the cleanup settings for files in Windows, I cannot say.

Seems to be working fine now even after closing and reopening the game several times.
I'll write back if I experience anymore issues.

Tried running the current trainer and it is giving me the following and I know the trainer has worked before.

Information: 0 : Successfully attached
Error: 0 : debug: Cannot find aob!
Please try what Cypher suggested above.

I cleared all my temp folder.
cleared one file in 90s folder
and there was nothing in working to clear.
A/V is set to ignore the trainer location and steam and the trainer are runing in admin mode. The Original trainer worked perfectly fine before. Also Its a new install of the game and a new download of the trainer to and rebooted still no luck.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.
Done a test. The original trainer is working fine tho. This is interesting.
Did you also tried activating it ingame instead of main menu? Sadly this game doesn't make it easy for cheaters although its singleplayer only.
Yeppers. Not sure why its not wanting to work with the new trainer. But the First one appears to be working perfectly fine on the latest version of the game.
