I tried this savegame with no trainer running and attacked.
No crash or black screen.

I tried this savegame with trainer running and activated but no options activated.
No crash or black screen.

I tried this savegame with trainer running and activated and with options 1 and 2 running.
No crash or black screen.

I tried this savegame with trainer running and activated and with options 1 and 2 and numpad 0 option (reveal army) running.
Game crashed but never had a black screen.

I assume that the problem is either reveal army is still on while loading, or there is other options that need to be turned back off that are still on.

I have no other suggestions, as the trainer doesn't seem to crash the game or turn my screen black (ever) unless I have the Reveal Army option going when I actually click to manually battle.

um, what exactly am I supposed to do? Where do you want me to fight? Is there an actual battle somewhere that I need to engage? I see nothing here. It loads the save fine, but I have no idea which unit you wish me to select and where you want me to attack?

Years ago a question was asked does the presence of trainers affect my choice to purchase a game or not.

I hop over to this site and was surprised to find a trainer was published 48 hours after release. I have now made a purchase of the game.

Thank you Caliber for producing this and thank you to the wider CH team for the insane number of contributions to different titles over the years.

Actually it was posted within 6 hours of release as Caliber stayed up for over 24 hours to begin work on the game the minute it unlocked at 1:15AM our time. What you are seeing now is the third iteration of the trainer.

Why is the AI also getting the affects of some of these cheats? Can you take that part out?

Probably because you didn't turn them off as described in the instructions before you end your turn.
