There are multiple versions of this trainer for multiple game distributions. Make sure you download the matching one.

Hmm, that seems to have done the trick. I used the second most recent version and it worked. Not sure why my game on Steam isn't working with the latest trainer version 😮

Because the latest trainer version is for the Windows Store / Gamepass version of the game.

Maybe you should test the trainer first to see if it works, if it doesn't file an update request...

I had the 1.5.1 trainer working on the new scenario. I played the Steam version.

I'm running the 1.5.1 version trainer, and the recently updated game on Steam. I have the antivirus disabled, am running the trainer in administrative mode, and when I try to activate the trainer, I get the "trainer cannot find game" error.

Someone else says the trainer is working for them but I cannot get the trainer to activate.

I did report this as a "needs to update" since I'm not sure if anyone else is having this issue.

EDIT: I'm an idiot. I was using the Windows Game Pass version of the trainer while running the Steam Version of the game. If you have the same problem as me, check which version you are using. The Steam trainer works with the Steam Game for me.

The GoG Version didn't want to be detected at first but restarting it several times solved this. If your game is not recognized by the trainer, just restart it until it is! Can I somehow remove my game update notification? I only tested it once and it was not working with the GoG version at that time. 🙈
