still not working when i press enter to use the upgrade the perk is just lights up nothing happen it doesn't even yellow

What i always do before activating the perk option is to legit get one or two perk points which is easily doable by finding a deer or pronghorn in the wild or fishing any kind of fish. After that, i get the game tutorial on perks, close the menu (without spending any perks ofc), activate perk option in trainer, open perk menu tab and spend all of it. I only use it once cuz 99 is enough to get all of the "must have" perks based on my playstyle. It always works for me. I had trouble at first when i used the perk options BEFORE getting the game perk tutorial (when you first legit gain a perk point), ever since i started using the perk option AFTER getting this tutorial, the issue never reappeared.

Even if I have legit 1 or more perks and use trainer - it does not work. Legit perk points spending, but then it just doesn't work.

Just got an update this morning, appears to be the Arcade Nights/Friendly Fire event, but the trainer is no longer launching the game (eg, from pressing F2 and navigating to the folder).

Attempting to run the game without the trainer gives the following error's: imgur.com/a/Yxv4dht

After that I verified the file integrity with Steam (1 file failed to validate) which then allowed me to launch the game again without the trainer.

I just tried using the method laid out in your sticky note and received the same results. Previous version of trainer worked just fine. Any other suggestions on how to get to work or does anyone know where to download the 1.05 patch?

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

Game had 1.1GB patch folks. It takes time to work these things out. For now make sure you do the following things here:

and that your game is running normally WITHOUT any trainers before trying the new trainer, which will be posted later today.

No need to use the current posted trainer as it is out of date and will not work. New trainer is coming later today.
