Well, I am in the same boat with everyone else who cannot get the trainer to run. However, I have had some interesting false starts. For the record, I disabled my McAfee first, followed the directions to the letter by starting Steam and Uplay. By the way, if I do not start Steam and go direct with UPlay, Steam must still be running because I see Steam popups during the game start. I get the game to start then exit out. I hit F1 and I get the same message as others, cannot find game and then the .dll missing warning. But, if I hit F1 again, I hear "trainer activated" and the game starts!

While this might seem like a good thing, the problem is that the trainer then shuts off. So, the game fires up, but no trainer working. The trainer for some reason will start the game, but then disables itself.

Now, another aside, if I try to use F2 to go directly to the .exe, it is not there. I follow the path to the bin file and there is no FarCry5.exe in bin. There are some folders such as Cache, Launcher, Licenses, and Localization. No .exe file though. But, if I navigate to this same bin file in Explorer, the FarCry5.exe file is right there visible, as is the fc_m64.dll file as well. So, using F2 I can't launch that way for some reason.
    Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition....

I had it run once and couldn't figure out what I did to get it to run. I had run a hodge-podge of click-exit's on a number of things and was desparate. I left, had family stuff to do, came back, and I...had to do it all over again.

Someone noted before that they had to remove their high-end graphics that interferes with the fc_m64.dll (or whatever it was - I'm too lazy too look it up right now)

Anyway - I uninstalled GEForce Experience, an app I've never actually used, but I remembered that it comes with an automatic overlay system. I recalled the first time I had force closed it out of the task bar and task manager, and it kept reinstancing itself this time. Soooo...uninstall it went. And guess what...? The 0142 error and unknown file version error went away as well - The GEForce Experience overlay turned out to be the culprit. I'm now free to craft and hunt Peggies with extreme prejudice.

TL;DR - If you have any overlay systems, they may be interfering with the way this trainer hooks into the game. Choice to make here, my dudes.

I finally got the trainer to work after several false starts. HereĀ“s what worked for me:

    1. Verified file integrity with Steam.
    2. Reboot
    3. Ran the game, without the trainer.
    4. Exit uPlay and Steam
    5. Ran the trainer and identified the game directory
    6. Closed the trainer
    7. Ran the trainer and activated.
    8. Trainer fired up the game, through Steam.

Game and trainer working fine. Thanks.

Just a note to say that after exiting the game Uplay shows a admin_console blinking icon in the top right corner of the app.Even after restarting the system it shows the same.Don't know if this is a problem or not.Read a post about a player getting banned when trying to play another Ubisoft game without restarting computer first.

I am not going to try to play any other Uplay game until I am sure it is safe.Thank you for all you guys and gals do for your members.

Trainer works fine on finding the game and loading all options I have used so far have worked fine e.g. (Unlimited Health, Unlimited Stamina, Unlimited Oxygen, No Recoil, Set Money, Unlimited Perks, Easy Crafting). I have appear to be having an issue with the super stealth I believe. Oh it works in hiding me. But I think its effecting the companion as they appear to not be fighting or killing on command with this on. Anyone else having this issue?

**Going to add this here since I spotted a post relating to co-op/mp cheating. Right the trainers may work in them. But CHT do not condone cheating in co-op/mp gaming. What happens out of being caught could be anything from Ban of access to the game. A VAC ban logged against your Steam or the equivalent of whatever Uplay uses. Note these are just guesses on what could happen as with other people on other games. Note you use trainers/cheats/mods on Co-Op/MP at your own risk! You have been warned.

This would work like in Ghost Recon: Wildlands then.

    From the Wildlands info:

AI friendly units will also not shoot and will remain silent to keep you from being discovered, and to keep them from being shot at. If you want them to engage, then turn this off.

Good for health, bad for education.
