I have FC5 on my F drive and when I choose the farcry5 directory the trainer starts with a red square and tries to launch the game. Steam even asks for me to allow FC5 to start with a text string option. I say yes, the game half launches. Then the trainer says "cannot find game" and kills FC5 and the trainer.

Thanks a lot for the Trainer it worked straight from the first moment after i have followed the mentioned steps without any hassles.

I finally got the trainer to work. I followed all the directions, deleted the EasyAntiCheat folder AND I put both Steam and Uplay into Offline mode. An instruction, that wasn't included in the readme. I hope this helps someone who is in my shoes. I just want to also thank CH and the people on this thread who worked very hard to look out for the rest of us. You didn't have to be here, yet here you all are. Thanks all!

I've tried everything I have read in here to get it to work and I still get "Trainer cannot find game" Is there something I'm just missing? I've launched the game even started a game and closed out hit f1 it starts to launch the game and right before it opens up fully I get the message about not finding the game. The only thing I'm wondering if it happens for other people is every time I launch with or without the trainer the game says its installing directx, is that normal?

The CH team is currently working to address the problem per a page or two ago.

You're being blocked by either windows defender or EAC. Verify your process.

Step 1) You must have launched the game first, then closed it down.

Step 2) Turn off Uplay and Steam if you have it installed with steam.

Step 3) Run Trainer V2 or above

Step 4) Press F2 and go to the directory where your game is located. This is where farcry5 exe is located. (Make sure you are only at the directory and not anywhere inside of it)

Step 5) Press F1 to launch the game. If you have steam a prompt will load up steam to login. Uplay will login automatically following this.

Step 6) You will hear "Trainer Activated" while the game is loading if it worked properly.
