The trainer likely works fine.

I doubt there is anything wrong with the trainer.

people are just not able to get a handle on using WKE to return their operating system back to normal. I've given the best instructions I can.

Folks just aren't following or their OS isn't compatible.

WKE requires
windows 10
latest build
run WKE administrator rights
likely turn off windows defender and your anti-virus

I have no other suggestions

Having an issue with the updated trainer from today, "Trainer cannot find game." I know the steps and have tried doing the KVA Shadow Disabler again to see if maybe that changed. No luck, on my part. I was using the older version of the trainers without issue. 😀

I am having this issue as well! I noticed the new update today, and downloaded it. I removed the old version before hand to avoid any confusion. I followed the steps exactly. When I get to the part to open the trainer and press F1, it tells me "please wait, trainer cannot find game". I have tried the whole operation a second time. I made sure all my win defender is turned off, I have done it all the same... No idea. I have Win 10, I have used the other versions of the trained many times before hand and had no problems. Here is the exact error mssg I get in the debug:

Trainer Cannot Find Program in Memory or Injection Failed.
0:0
Attempting Injection-->32B0
Injection Failed. This may be normal in some applications.
However some applications this means the trainer is being blocked.

Trainer Cannot Find Program in Memory or Injection Failed.

Do let me know if these is a way to correct/fix this, so that it can run properly.

I think WKE is no longer working with Vermintide 2. If you follow the instructions closely and open up WKE before launching the game, the game will crash immediately when you click Play with a message saying "Please turn off Windows Kernel Explorer before launching the game".

I'm not brave enough to try launching WKE after the game has run yet since I'm quite sure Fatshark will have a way to pick up whether or not I have opened WKE after games launch.

If this is no longer working, I just want to give thanks to all the people who are behind the return of this trainer. I gotta admit I never thought of a day where it would make a comeback like this even if it's not for long.

This short run has given me hope that one day Monster Hunter World Editor will be back too even though the last known version that I kept is still working fabulously.

First thanks to everyone that has worked their collective backsides off to bring us all these wonderful trainers over the years and thank you for dedication to Vermintide in particular. That being said I am also getting the "Close Windows Kernel Explorer before I am able to launch the game, you also cannot run WKE after launch because it pops the error " Unable to load driver! Please disable secure boot and try again." And if this is the end of the road, Godspeed and I'll see you for Vermintide 3.

I don't even play this game anymore but it's absolutely disgusting how far developers would go to avoid singleplayer cheating.

Glad to know that CH is doing what's possible (and sometimes even the impossible lol), I remember this game was hard to code a trainer for since the beginning and you guys were the only ones who actually had a working trainer at the time.

Sad times, allowing a malware to take control of your system just to play a game... I'm boycotting Fatshark ever since they decided to use EAC, what a joke.

It's confirmed. WKE tool is detected now. The detection is of the WKE system driver itself.
This driver is what allows you to look at all the drastic changes being done by EAC to your OPERATING SYSTEM at the kernel level, and to reverse them. Contact the developer of the tool and let him know that he needs to change some things in the WKE driver to reduce detection vectors, otherwise his tool is useless for recovering changes done to the operating system by EAC.

Right now, you can use the trainer on modded realms until there is a way to remove the changes to your operating system done by EAC. EAC is acting like a malware or rootkit changing your operating system and blocking your ability to do normal things with it. Apparently it is also blocking software like WKE that would allow you to recover your operating system from these malware like changes being done to it.

I have no other suggestions. Our trainer is up to date and working. EAC is blocking normal windows operations of our program or any like it and even anti-rootkit programs like WKE from operating like they should. It's just a fact that some evil person could potentially use this iteration of EAC driver to produce a malware that locks your computer down and you would be powerless to use tools designed to reverse it. All of this for a VIDEO GAME. And people likely have no idea this is going on within their PC.

Until there is software that is undetected or allowed to let you recover your kernel, you will have to use the trainer in modded realms.

The fix is to use a tool that allows you to recover your operating system back to normal. EAC is being used to manipulate your actual running operating system kernel so that it blocks normal WIndows API functions that the trainer requires.

If there is no tool to do this right now or WKE is detected, there is nothing any of us can do for the moment. The developers have literally hijacked your operating system from the KERNEL LEVEL to prevent you from doing things on your own computer that you have a legal right to do. Imagine if I came to your house and told you that you cannot do something with something you bought and you aren't allowed to enter a room in your house because you own it. Amazing.
