Just downloaded it, have Win 10 latest and just defender with exclusions and it opens up just fine.

try adding theses exclusions as well:

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp\CH_Temp.tmp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp\~Mnn133.tmp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp\~CheathappensTrainer.tmp

Maybe that's where the problem is. None of those locations exist. Anyone know how they are created.

Only the first exclusion Cypher mentions is necessary for this trainer here, the others about the *.tmp files are for older trainers. You don't need to create them by yourself.

Verify that you also have the trainer exe file excluded and launch the trainer with admin rights.

Check the SmartScreen settings in the Windows Defender Security Center too. You'll find them in the App & browser control. Switch them to 'Warn' instead of 'Block'.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.
