Middle-Earth: Shadow of War Message Board  

When trying to open the trainer, it says "Please wait", and closes out in two seconds. I watch on Task Manager to see if it's working or not. Uploading file with this post.

It's eithe antivirus or missing the proper .NET Core file. Here is the complete check list.

Delete trainer and all files in

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work

C:\ProgramData\CheatHappens

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer, extract it and make sure trainer/launcher/editor is in a folder excluded from virus scans. Empty quarantine folder if needed or set anything trainer related (paths and EXE's) to ALLOW. Disable any Live/Active/Real-Time tools which may trigger false positives in security software which may terminate the game/trainer when it's activated or options used. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again.

At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again.

I downloaded the Pirates! updated version, and realized two things.
1. It can take a while for the "It's On" voice to actually work. When I saw that part, I became a little more patient - voila - it worked. It wasn't working earlier, and I wasn't hitting F1 at the right time.
2. (With regards to Shadow of War) - Because I learned I needed to wait a bit, I tried it again. Additionally, I hit F1 on the first actual screen before clicking anything else ([space bar] or A). After realizing it was the first thing on, I hit F1 and heard the trainer was up and running, and saw / realized the bottom left hand part was red, then turned that part on - which became green.

My point with all this is that I followed CyPHeR369's instructions to the tee. Had it not been for him/her, I would not have been able to use this trainer.
My only issue now is getting the Trainer Manager 2.0 to actually work. Downloaded, installed, opened as Admin. It turns on, then turns off in two seconds. One button sure would be nice. That's to CyPHeR369's posts, I was able to get it to work. Please thank him/her for me. Means a lot to me.

If I had of known it was for a illegally obtained copy, I would not have helped. Just buy the games people, it keeps food on the table for the little guy dev's who really need it after the billionaires have squandered their share.

"No Man's Land" fails when I've completed the quest. Says I died after killing the target mob. Quit, restarted the game, the trainer, attempted to complete the quest. Same issue, I killed the target mob, then says mission failed, you died. I didn't die.

I purchased this game on Steam. Why would it come out as illegal?

Maybe the issue is with how the mission works, try to finish it either without the trainer or without the options you have enabled at that time and once you are finished with the quest, try using the trainer again.
