Vakmix, that makes sense. I also used the "pick any / upgrade any" skills. I'll go back to the I save before I did that, see if that had anything to do with it. Either way, I'll continue testing from the start if needed.

I don't keep all the games I play on my 1TB hard drive. I've purchased so many. When I decide to play, if it's not downloaded, I re-download.

With Pirates, I thought it might have been some glitch causing the error, hence re-downloading it again.

You can apologize now having decided based on misunderstanding what I said, that I was "stealing games".

Vakmix, spot on. I re-tried disabling the trainer rows used, one by one (so four tries), at the end I didn't "die" after completing the mission this time. Muchly appreciated your perspective and advice, friend.

You are in the Middle-Earth: Shadow of War Message Board Thread, If you were talking about Sid Meyer's Pirates, then you should have been in that messaged boards main game thread. You stated and I quote, "I downloaded the Pirates! updated version" with no context what so ever in a thread for Middle-Earth: Shadow. Next time please be more careful with your wording and use the correct message board to avoid miscommunications in the future. Thanx.

After completing "The Etten", after assigning a mob to the at the top of the castle, I cannot open anything. Next Quests, Inventory, etc. Nothing opens. The screen stays looking straight ahead of the castle, can't change how I can view, directions, up / down. The Hero can move, swing a sword, jump off the top of the castle, the view direction stays the same, doesn't change, looks straight off horizontal to the top of the castle. Restarted the laptop, restarted the game and trainer, same issue after completing The Etten. "The Etten" when starting it again, the castle shows on the map as blue, and still shows quest available not completed.

Most of these trainers on CheatHappens are reliable and worth the time spent. This one for Shadow of Mordor, I do not recommend.

Are you sure you are even using the right trainer? First is for STEAM and second is for Window Store/Game Pass, if you use the wrong one, it may activate but not give the desired results in game. I have used the Steam one many times and never had a problem with it. Some missions require the health or mount health to be turned off.

May be a good idea to make the trainer cleaner.

Please delete the trainer, custom keys, debug folder where the trainer resides and all files in

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
C:\ProgramData\CheatHappens

Learn how to make your own Trainer Cleaner for the above paths here.

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and extract it. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again. May also need to run the game without the trainer first and play a bit so the save file gets updated to use possible new values. This typically will resolve the issue.

This cleaner is also part of the new Cheat Happens Trainer Manager 2.0, it is found in the settings and has an easy to use one button click feature.
