the level option does spoil the game. The character will show your desired level however the EXP will be a high negative number, plus you do not get skill points.
The negative exp on the lord/hero is a factor that causes the game to crash after I battled and earn exp with them. Also using this option does not unlock the renowed regiments that unlocks once the lord hits a certain level. This is my main problem. Other than that i have no issues.
I suggest updating the level option on the trainer to change the exp values instead of level value as it causes no problems and lord/heroes will level up after the next turn organically to desired level with no issues.

Try these steps: Use the level up option, save your current game, quit to main menu, load the saved game, cycle the turn. This will reset the EXP values to their normal values and allow you to unlock the regiments when your lord/hero hits next level. It's a little wonky, to be sure, but it seems to work.
Kind of a side note: I don't know why others are having so many problems with the trainer. I've not had any issues with it. Zero, zilch, nada, none. No problems with any of the options and all of the ones I've tried work as stated as long as the instructions in the read me are followed (intuitive, I know).

No, we do not support online cheating, even co-op.
In response to people saying the weaken units crashes game. I have tested and confirmed this onlyhappens to me when I start a battle with 7 still activated. It takes a bout five seconds. My solution is to set the weaken units and finish the action. Wait for it to tell me it is deactivated and THEN press autoresolve or whatever. If you press autoresolve with the weaken units still active then game crashes. I dont think this is bug to be honest because the game cant calculate autoresolve when the data is still being changed.
Not sure what your talking about on the weaken unit problem. For the people for whom this is a problem, we don't get to a battle. We hit Numberpad 7, click on a unit, and the game crashes. No battle screen is involved.
