Try white-listing (windows defender/firewall and/or your antivirus software) the trainer and the cheathappens folder inside your "user" folder... that did the trick for me..

I'll second jmurbach's post - Lots of crashes for me to since Curse of VC came out.

On the latest trainer (valid as of 19 Nov), "Weak unit" key freezes and crashes the game immediately for me.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

The numberpad 7 feature, "weaken units", causes the game to crash.

In response to people saying the weaken units crashes game. I have tested and confirmed this onlyhappens to me when I start a battle with 7 still activated. It takes a bout five seconds. My solution is to set the weaken units and finish the action. Wait for it to tell me it is deactivated and THEN press autoresolve or whatever. If you press autoresolve with the weaken units still active then game crashes. I dont think this is bug to be honest because the game cant calculate autoresolve when the data is still being changed.

Additionally, Don't try activting the trainer or changing any of the cheats during the loading screens. This has sometimes caused issues for me crashing. Just be patient with it ya'll the trainer is pretty good.

The level option crashes and spoils the savegame. Pls change it to add XP instead of changing the numerical value of the level. Changing the XP value will not spoil the save game.

I have had none of these problems, the trainer works just fine, so I don't see where all of you are getting these issues.
