Hi all, new here. Just tried this trainer and it works but after building a couple of stuff it just unexpectedly crashes. Anyone knows what's the issue?

Thank you for updating this trainer. Never thought it will be revived again. The trainer seems to be working fine but after a few minutes, my game starts crashing. My overlay is off as well so I am not sure what the issue is.

I am having the same issues as well. Were you able to figure out a fix?

No. It works sometimes but it crashes all the time..

I've ot the same issue Crashes after building a few thimgs or sometimes after launching.

Looks like the trainer might have an issue, put your findings in an update request so it can be looked into.

General reminder that posts with issues here and not update requests don't get looked at. Help yourselves and others by putting in that update request if the trainer is running into issues.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

I've already responded about this. Not sure what is up, but on THREE computers now, I cannot replicate.

We "rived" the trianer now only to have weeks of complaints.. again.

hello, i understand there have been issues with the trainer and this game. identical issues have been reported even using memory scanning programs like CoSMOS and their tables. i too myself have encountered the same crash issues and find the trainer unusable.

first we should thank the cheathappen devs for trying to update their trainer despite the game being very long retired, and appreciate their efforts. there appears to have been some changes made by the game developers which have broken trainer functionality and it would require too much effort to track it down.

so im here to suggest a solution for users. its not a trainer, its manually editing the game files regarding things like ship costs, planet credits and population capacity etc.

if you search your game files for Planets.xml (if you are playing a modded game then search those similar files in the mod directory) and you can edit lines for things like

"Planet_Credit_Value"
"Additional_Population_Capacity"

and so on. all can be edited with notepad. be sure to make a backup for these files as if the AI ever uses that faction they too will gain those benefits.

in the units directory you will also find .xml files for skirmish and galactic values for costs, build times, etc. but generally speaking its more time efficient to just edit a single planet like Coruscant with mega income and population values and play with that.

i hope this has been useful to some people, and im glad they updated this game despite being released in 2006. with mods its still a very fun game to play.
