Thank you for the response. I need to play it some but as far as I can tell the trainer works since I got the response trainer activated when I pressed F1 at the main menu.

Question, I'm getting a window that asks me "How do I want to open this file" once I start the trainer and get past the user account control window. it's been working up till now, any thoughts or has anyone encountered this. I've tried other trainers and they don't seem to be affected.

Make sure trainer and/or launcher is in a folder excluded from virus scans. Empty quarantine folder if needed or set anything trainer related (paths and EXE's) to ALLOW. Disable any Live/Active/Real-Time tools which may trigger false positives in security software which may terminate the game/trainer when it's activated or options used.

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens

may need to be added to exclusions as well. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again.

Before we spend time and money making a STEAM trainer, we need someone to confirm that the current trainer DOES NOT WORK on the Steam game.

Mod Vakmix says it works fine on Steam in the discord.

All of the things I have tried work on Steam (though unlimited skills doesn't seem to always work, but I can't figure out what the exact circumstances are when it does and doesn't), but no character changes are permanent, and it may be blocking some progress when I activate it.

Ex: I have a level 3 character and I cheat him up to L70 with all the skills, research and equipment, then I create a save game. When I load the game for my next session, I'm L3, and all of those cheated skill points are gone. Things that I researched, and things that I built remain, but my character appears to reset to his actual progress when I started the trainer. I'm still at the very bottom of L3, and none of the actual experience I should have gotten while playing appears to have registered.

Mission completions while cheats were active, and game overall progress seems fine.

-First Edit- If you launch the game from Steam, the Origin launcher autostarts. If you immediately flip to Origin, and go to "offline mode" and then load your cheated save, everything is still there. If you accidentally load a single game file with Origin connected, it will neuter all of your saves (for the rest of your play session) and going offline won't help you - you have to close down the game, and restart it again.

From my perspective, this is acceptable and doesn't need a trainer update. But some kind of instructions on the main post/read me would probably help others in the future.
