Mass Effect 2 Message Board  

i had a problem with Mass Effect 2 in Origin and after couple of hours internet and just messing aroundi found a workaround it, so for those who have the same problem here is the solution:

The 1.02 trainer dint work for me in origin because for some weird reason Origin/BioWare/EA does not update the game its always 1.00, so i went and downloaded the patch from bioware and installed it but then there was another origin error message that dint allow me to play the game, a workaround to that is to edit properties of an exe. ( Mass Effect > Binaries > ME2Game.exe ) and set compatibility into service pack 3 ( i also set it into admin mode, but im not sure if that is necessary ) and used ME2Game.exe to enter the game and after that both the game and the trainer worked.

i also edited properties of MassEffect2.exe and MassEffect2Config.exe into servies pack 3 just to be safe and again not sure if necessary.
