Every time I attempt to utilize the game update function I get a 404 error. I've attempted 4 different browsers, turned off every form of Ad block and AV, and still get it. (I've done everything suggested in the attached picture of the 404 error.)

The Steam version of the trainer appears to need an update, due to the game being updated for RE8 information. Most options are no longer working and cause the game to have stutter or lag. No Reload and Fast Movement seem to still work.

7 Update requests are made. If i understand right, that DOESNT mean that the trainer is working. It just mean 7 Request where made to UPDATE the Trainer.

They are talking about the request button not working hence the mentioned 404 error in their post and my response.

I found that the Unlimited Ammo option seems to permanently stop working for me (unless game and trainer are restarted) if I toggle it off after being active. Toggling it on again does nothing unless I reset the game. I was toggling it off when using quest items as they persist in your inventory after use when the option is on.

Delete trainer and all files in

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and extract it. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again. May also need to run the game without the trainer first and play a bit so the save file gets updated to use possible new values.

When I click LUNCH I get a message from windows to find a program to open the file... looks like a temp file. That never happened. I tried to open with the trainer exe but that just open the trainer again for me. My Cyberpunk 2077 trainer is working properly nothing different, but I can't lunch the Resident Evil 7 trainer. Looks like I can't open the older trainers, that ones that the loading is a rectangule black and orange, the new ones the gray ones open properly. Thanks
