The previous trainer essentially fully worked for me, except for Inf Health where it would lower it to near death instead of keeping it up.

is that resolved in this recently updated one?

I'm thinking of grabbing a LifeTime sub here but was wondering if we had a gear editor? A long while ago you could open game master while in game and it would let you change the stats of weapons and gear lvl, rarity, stats, and everything. You could save that and load it back into the main game. Does this trainer or editor have that option at all?

The savegame editor has options to change required level, rarity and few other things like amount for items. But no stats. It also does not work on definitive edition savegames. The trainer still has the GM option but people said it's no longer working like at the beginning, i.e. its heavily limited.

So in both cases you shouldn't expect a full featured inventory editor like the inbuilt GM mode was until it got fixed/broken by a game update.

Do you know if at some point the GM editor, and save editor will be updated to work with DE?

The update of the editor is on 0x90's list as he posted here -> Link but it will take some time.

Taurus is right. Regarding the GM it will probably never work as it does at the beginning. Devs have fixed/broken it and the only chance to get it back is them to undo whatever they did. Nothing I can do about.
