Not sure what's happening, but none of the options are working. I have Update 1.38 and the matching trainer. Game is vanilla. I run both the game and trainer as admin. I've tried activating the trainer and options by alt-tabbing or hotkeys. Trainer activates normally, attempts to activate the options, I hear the "activated", nothing happens. 😭
What is your distribution platform for the game (STEAM or GOG)? Do you activate the options when you're actually in the game?
Do you have the proper exclusions in your security software? Does this still persist when you run the trainer with admin rights only?

I run the steam version, latest update. I have activated both in game, and tried from the trainer itself. Still persists, even with admin rights. I keep my games and trainers on a separate hard drive from windows though, so I don't think it matters too much in my case. But I tried with admin rights anyway.
I usually turn my security software off when I play games, but I do have exclusions in as well, they work fine for all my other trainers. For example, my Witcher 3 trainer, most recently, works fine under all the same operating conditions that this trainer is operating under.
