No Man´s Sky Message Board  

Any idea on what the next update will be? 4 Months and still nothing to go on... I certainly hope Hello Games is working on full avatars for multi-player at the very least..

I have played the game on occasion over the last few months but it's hard to play it w/o some new stuff to do.. I also hope there are some new things added like tons of new planet types, enviroments, etc., I would like to have a Gas Giant or two in each system, to get some good screenshots..

I've heard of the "Walking Titan" thing never really got into it or understood what it all meant, but it usually popped up right before a major update.. I don't know what else I can do if I can't visit or peoples planets in GOG's version.. They dropped the ball there, Hopefully this update fixes all that, I have played w/ buddies from around the world on my PS4, but only in Sandbox mode..

Which leads me to another thing, can they make finding graves at the front of caves a little easier? make it a waypoint when you touchdown on a planet, or when in close proximity.. I have never found one in the regular game to unlock all the stargate address runes.. I'm just bored w/ No Man's sky at this point, I want to love this game, but they simply need to add more variety.. One more point, in Sandbox mode, the ability to Delete All missions from the new rpg stuff they threw in on the last update would be great, in sandbox, I don't want any pressure whatsoever, especially since it's glitched and never completes certain tasks.. I have emailed them my concerns, I'm just voicing them here to get it off my chest.. I hope the next version is mindblowing.. I could use an update that doesn't take 5 hours to explore everything they added..

First off, this is the second time I have to type all this out because the message board didn't like the way I formatted something, and perceived it as an "attack"

Anyway, anyone having any issues with this? It seemed to work a few weeks ago, now it's dead in the water. None of the options work.

I'm launching with admin rights, I re-downloaded the trainer and made sure that my AV software (Windows Defender) has the trainer folder and the game excluded. I've even shut off it off to make sure it's not interfering. Alt-Tabbed to activate and tested all the options. No joy.

I don't think there was an update to the game, but I can't for the life of me find the version number anywhere, other than the Steam content BuildID, which is 2158880.

I'm running Windows 10 Professional - Version 1709.

I just tested the trainer and it works great on my old Windows 7 64 bit, the latest version of the game is 1.38.
No need to exclude the game and do not run it as an administrator, that's only good for the trainer 🤔

I'm only running the trainer as administrator, not the game itself.

I don't have Windows 7 installed on any of my rigs to test, I wonder if something with Windows 10 - Build 1703 is causing issues. Which would not surprise me at all.

Delete trainer and all files in

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and
make sure trainer in is folder excluded from virus scans and empty the quarantine folder if needed.

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens

may need to be added to exclusions as well. Run trainer as admin and try again.

As with most IT related issues, the problem is not with the software or the hardware, but with the user.

Issue solved...

Long story short, I didn't delete the old trainer I had, and even though I downloaded the most current one, I was clicking on the "nms-squeaky369.exe" and not the one with the new one.

I'll be seeing myself out. Thanks for the assist.
