It looks like they have a offline mode however anything you earn there you can connect into MP and play CoOP so a trainer may get people in trouble. Hopefully not though as CoOP doesnt have to be matchmaking.

@IamFreeman - There is, there's an overlay of EAC and client checks. This game uses both EAC and Denuvo - Link

If you take no risks, you will suffer no defeats. But if you take no risks, you win no victories.

Something tells me trainers will work for this game no problem, but your character likely gets saved on the server side. Which means at any point they decide they are done with cheaters they can scan all the accounts for jumps in cash/skills/xp that are abnormal and flag/ban your account.
It's not unlike cheaters in GTA Online. You can mod, but you will be banned eventually.
We all just saw this happen with Forza Horizons 3 on PC recently. Pretty much everyone using trainer got banned.
I liked wildlands, it's like Farcry + Just Cause combo game. However, if I buy this game. I will not be using a trainer. I have too many games on my ubisoft account to risk getting locked out of. I would strongly suggest anyone else here playing this game avoid using the trainer if you care about your account. Either that or make a new ubisoft account just for this game. That way if it gets banned, it's just one game you lose (not everything).

They can not lock you out from all games on your account without getting in to serious legal issues, they can only block either that game or online accesses.
The interesting part comes along when the EULA goes up against consumer protection laws, with digital content where does ownership lay, do you own the right to play it or not? If so then restrictions to how you want to play it should only be in place when it affects other players, else your getting to the point of a company prescribing what you can and cannot do with your own purchase.
Ultimately I only cheat in single player, if a company takes action against me for that, they will see a nice chargeback coming their way, if they block more games will just charge back all of them, if I cheat in a co-op or online mode then it is justified but only to block access to that game or mode (pretty sure in the EU this is the law currently)

I do not think Ubi will go through all that trouble for a singleplayer/co-op game. You hardly hurt anyone by using the trainer. It's not like you are getting a huge advantage over all the other players (depending on the trainer options).
It could be nice to boost the materials or skill points, but all this does is giving you a few hours boost over the other players in your squad. And since it's squad play, they will take notice of your god-like powers and likely won't complaing since they also have an advantage in that. Game has shared exp in groups, so you don't need to be the one that makes the kills, therefor having a god in the party will only clear the missions faster.

But we all know how that usually goes, people in the squad will be upset that you are taking away from their experience (not exp but actual experience of playing the game) by completely blowing through everything with your power-leveled character. It's very rare in squad based games where you actually find people that are excited to play with cheaters, in most cases even cheaters aren't too thrilled to play with other cheaters.
I assume if there is some sort of report function it will be used and abused for people with boosted stats but for offline play it could be very fun. I just recommend for anyone that intends to play this game with a trainer, do not use it in any online situation. Be safe lol.
