Probably a stupid question, but the F1 button on my keyboard doesn't work anymore, is there any other way I can activate the trainer?

No idea what I'm doing wrong as bought Doom today from GAME store ( brand new £28) and let it install via Steam to what I am going to assume is the latest version.

Run the trainer and wait for main menu to appear before activating and I just keep hearing "Activated" repeated then when the campaign is started the loading progress dial hits 95% then locks up the game completely. I have tried running both as normal and as an Admin and same thing happens - only way out of this is hit the power button on my PC and close down completely.

Just tried playing without the trainer and no problem.

Anti / Virus is temporarily disabled before running just in cause that may cause a problem.

Think in all the years I've been using your trainers this is 1st that has been less than willing to work. Hopefully there is a way around this but with my limited knowledge I am at a loss

try rebooting. completely disable/uninstall all AV, firewall and other security software. run steam in offline mode. right click run as admin on trainer and game.

Will give them a try, thanks for the quick response. Just done a validation check of Doom files as well see if that is an issue

Disabled AV, ran game and trainer in Admin, set Steam to offline and same - only thing I didnt try was reboot, will try that tomorrow as off to work.

At least this time it let me close game and trainer without needing a reboot.

delete the entire folder the trainer is in and re-download.

Wizard by name and Wizard by nature.

Fully deleting and re-downloading has fixed it.

Current Trainer still working smashingly 💛

1. Cannot "Run As Adminastrater' in a Steam game fyi.
2 Re downloaded trainer and ran as ADMIN.
3 Trainer activates but the only thing that works is F9 Unlimited time.
4. Was working fine until this afternoon.




Also disabled all AV and disconnected the internet..problem still exists.

Removed all trainers from 'My Trainers' folder and d/l'ed DooM trainer again installed in empty 'My trainers' folder. Did not clear up problem.

Freaking num lock was not on arrrgh, I feel like an idiot.
