This is a great link! and the page is well worth reading for every member who plays online, I personally DO NOT AGREE to long term banning from Steam for example 6 months, and surely there must be some legal aspect to long term banning because of the fact you have purchased the game from Steam or anywhere else for that matter like G2A and you get a key to use on Steam.

I also do not like how Steam Valve have become so involved via me and you having to go via Steam to play our new games, Steam is slowly becoming a monopoly when it comes to purchasing and playing games and that is a ROTTEN situation for us all. 🙁

Oh cool that link will certainly fill in my knowledge gaps on this mater. But as regards to Steam being nearly the sole place to play games. Sadly I seen that coming years back, it was the omg I do not disks save space situation and many gamers in my area at that time to were like yes no more boxes. Heck even millions around the world were the same. But companies now see steam as a great DLP. It includes the updating system, the drm which personally I see no issue. But you now have Origin and GOG pushing into the market to.

Whatever happens we NEED competition in the gaming world and our freedom to purchase from other outlets apart from Steam, I have watched my favourite store on the UK high street named "GAME" it started out originally named "Electronic Boutique" I still have my points card that says Electronic Boutique on it the size of a credit card, but my issue is I have watched rows and rows of packed games on this stores shelves now you are lucky to get 3 shelves of games also lots of cards for Steam.

I hate the word Monopoly but this has already happened just about and it makes me sick, this is all fine and Dandy for people who live out in the country and are miles and miles away from the nearest Game store, Steam is fantastic for the USA because so many people have no access to be able to get to Towns or cities so the internet is the only way to go and that is great for the customer and for Steam, finally Gabe is laughing his socks off and good luck to him because he is at the TOP of his tree house or could that be Penthouse.

Ah GAME. How I hate that store with so much hatred. But the internet is going the way for stores and steam is the main point for games now. Even if you bought a game from a store it will most likely need steam to run. So it doesnt matter now. Computer games stores are best off going to online from now on in my view. I aint going into the city to pick up a game. Yeah its only 30mins by bus but just no. when I can go to steam orign or gog buy download and boom..

Me personally used to love getting the hard copy (CD Disc or DVD) those days are almost gone and yes that name again Steam it has the World by it's short and curly's Gabe is not complaining, when you get to 68 years old at times you detest change obviously if it is for the better all is well and good I cannot say that Steam is all good it has a bad downside that is creating a Ticket and the amount of time you have to wait and at best the assistant at Steam doe's not always read your problem correctly this has been my experience in the past with Steam.
