Hm, Steam says the game version i use is 1.0 build 820.0_64, the trainer is for 1.0.813.4_64
I downloadet a trainer (googleed it) that works perfect (last Updated december 28. 2018)
So the trainer on here seems outdated (to me)
both my PC and my new Gaming Notebook have problems with this trainer, but working fine with the other one....
ok , now do exactly what i tell you .. before that i must say that i am also playing on my 8 year old system (i7 3930k and 32GB DDR3 1600 Rams) but i am playing on DX12 because somehow my GTX 1080´s in SLI perform super fast on 4k resolution ok so , you start the game first i mean after loading the game and u see Lara standing you press ALT TAB and open trainer then press F1.After that you go in game and play normal for like 30-40 seconds or make it 1 minute. Then while you playing game start pressing NUM keys to activate ur desired cheats. This must work for you otherwise there is something which is comming in between trainer and game..
and also check this folder please.
C:\Users\ur user name\Cheathappens\Work\Runtime
it looks like trainer make one tmp file after you open rise of TR trainer.Something like ~CheathappensTrainerxxxx.tmp which was blocked by my Malwarebytes but i put it in exclussion
Hm, I think I found the problem: My Taskmanager just marked the CheathappensTrainerXXXX.tmp as not responding.
How can I fix that?
Edit: Just tried several times, the Trainer.XXXX.temp was inactive every time....
Edit2: uninstalled my Kaspersky... Trainer.XXXX.temp still not working
tryed other cheathappens Trainers ( Tomb Raider/ Shadow of the tomb raider, and others) all worked fine...

Just add that file to the exclusions as well. Have to do it for Defender also, as once any A/V is uninstalled it defaults to windows defender.
