The trainer keeps shutting down automatically. does anyone know why this might happen and what can be done about it?

disable/uninstall all AV, firewall and other security software. right click run as admin on trainer. update your legally purchased game to latest version and use latest trainer.

Did that. and even moved trainer to steam file. Still same outcome. it doesn't happen with any other trainer...

no idea, something is blocking it. you will have to figure out what it is and disable it.
