Just chiming in as well, trainer will activate but the light remains in yellow and no options will enable - no sound that the trainer is even able/attempting to enable the options. Fortunately, I haven't had any crashes from trying to use the trainer or difficulty with closing it down, but as it is now, it's no longer functioning with the current version.

Looks like we may need to send the exe through to them,
Current trainer is causing crashes too so am patiently awaiting an update,

Game crashes apparently because the game just got a 4.5GB patch

There was a 2GB Update Patch to fix some problems (supposedly) and then a 2.5GB DLC patch to release November's DLC

Just adding after testing for an hour. Trainer activates and I am able to enable Option 1. The moment I enable it the trainer becomes unresponsive and no longer says "Activated/Deactivated" and has to be force closed in Task Manager. Reloading it and trying any option causes the trainer to become unresponsive and is repeatable. I have also had no crashes before and now I am having crashes but this could be related to the patch itself. Please can you relook at the trainer and update if needed.
