Just saw this post on Steam. Might explain why some of us are having issues.

Thanks, oh so much, for that post. Been keeping under 15s for 10+ hours now, and the saving continues to work just fine.

This is the very first trainer from CH (for Dirt Rally in this case) I am using with an official (MS) Xbox One Controller. I only got that controller today, so I really have zero experience with it.

Looking at the CH trainer, I noted a Joystick tab (next to the keyboard Hotkeys tab), that pre-binds what appears to be "Joystick buttons" to the various trainer functions. I am assuming this should also work with the Xbox One Controller? But I seem to be neither able activate any of the cheats in-game, and do not seem to be able to click on the "keys/button" fields to rebind the Joystick shortcuts using my controller.

I am very probably doing something wrong, or am not aware of... so any help fixing this would be appreciated. Thanks.

You need to push and hold in either the left or right thumb-stick, then press the button of the option you want to activate. It should flash that info on the bottom of the trainer when you switch tabs with your mouse first.

Yep, read that. When on the Joystick tab, I click-held the LS and pressed A. That yielded an "activated" (LS hold + Pad up/down also worked). But none of the other functions did (B, X, Y). This is when in the trainer window with the Jockstick tab selected.

While in Dirt Rally, i.e. in the game, none of these keys would work, i.e. LS-hold + A would not even react (did not confirm via a "activated". So something seems to be blocking the controller keys to the trainer?

And Joystick key in the trainer rebinding, does not seem to be possible either?

Got the same controller but not the game, try running the game as an admin as well as the trainer. Multi-monitor setup??? make sure the trainer window is on the same monitor as the game.

Being an older game, may also try installing the xbox360 controller drivers also, as the XB1 drivers are slightly different.

I have a 3-monitor setup... and a while back noted that I could not close the CH trainers on the 3rd monitor ( Layout (left to right): 3 : 1 : 2 ). I did run the trainer on the main monitor (i.e. the trainer gets hidden by the game). Alas that did not help either.
