Yes, especially over their lifetime of updating, advertising, promoting, etc. We've updated some trainers over 50 times and through multiple entire game re-writes. Costs us THOUSANDS for ONE GAME.
Wait, hold on...I was admittedly being a bit of a smartass, but now I'm actually interested. So let's take a game which Steam sells for, say, $10. And let's say it needs, say, 1 updates. Besides the $10 to buy the game, how does updating it cost money? Software and computer costs?

Then that wouldnt cost much in time. But it also is Depending on what they did in the update. Which could mean several hours getting the right line/code/data entry for each option on the trainer.
There is many vairiables to it. So giving an excat amount in money terms could be anything. Also remember its their own time to they use. Also Idoubt they work for free either.

I'm not being a smartass either. I ran a company for 25 years. Sounded to me like PWiz gave you an honest and sincere answer, but you're cross-examining him looking for a different answer more to your liking.
Quit while you're behind.

No, actually, I'm honestly curious.
Oh, well damn, I thought it was just you guys. I humble apologize and am now even more appreciative
Technically it is just them.
